Young Professionals
Expectations. Chances are there are a lot of these in your life. The ones you have for yourself and the ones that others have of you. Exploring these expectations, understanding which ones are truly vital to your future success and happiness is where our Young Professionals program starts. Where it finishes is up to you.

This program is designed to “jump start” your thinking around the type of work and activities at which you are likely to be successful, find fulfilling and make a lasting contribution. Together we will explore your personal talents and develop a plan for aligning them with your goals and objectives. You can expect to do some challenging thinking about what you really want and how you would go about achieving your objectives.

We begin with a conversation about your prior experiences and expectations, move onto an exploration of your personal talents, and finally build a plan for personal goals based on your talent and expectations. The coaching can be extended at your option to support you in the achievement of your goals.

“Try to get into your own mind a little bit. Figure out what it is you want to do with your life, what you really want to do, who you really are. Don’t waste your life doing something that you’re going to end up being bored with, or feel was futile or a waste of time. It’s your life, live it as fully and as usefully as you possibly can. ……… a usefully lived life is probably going to be, ultimately, more satisfying.”

Sales Professionals
Growth. It’s what is expected of you. A career in sales is different from many others; someone is always keeping score, often that person is you. Real growth depends on change; sometimes small, sometimes large. What kind of growth do you expect of yourself? Facilitating a mindset that simulates growth is at the heart of our Sales Professional Coaching program. Not the growth that others expect of you, but the growth that can build and sustain your success.

This program is designed to help you understand what it is that has made you successful, when you have felt most satisfied with your work, and how you can build more of that into your professional life. We will explore together your unique talents and develop a plan for aligning them with your goals and objectives. Together we will look for ways that you can sustain that sense of accomplishment that makes selling fun. You will uncover new ways to think about the goals and objectives of your career, and build strengths that will facilitate your personal and professional growth.

This can be aligned with your annual planning process or taken up at any point to stimulate your thinking. We begin with a conversation about your current environment and pattern of success, then move on to an exploration of your personal talents, and finally build a plan for your personal growth and success as a sales professional.

“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”

Managers
Direction. You give a lot of it, you get a lot of it. Managers do so much more than see that the work gets done; they set to tone for everything around them. A manager is at once a team leader, a teammate, a worker, an advisor, and a coach. It’s a lot to ask of any one person. It’s impossible to do without a sense of direction. Not the transactional kind you give and get everyday, but the kind that guides you and those you lead. What is the compass that guides the direction of you management career? Facilitating clear thinking and behaviors that clarifies your direction are the core of our Managers Coaching program.

In this program we will explore those things that drive you and set the tone for your work. We will explore together your unique talents and develop a plan for aligning them with your responsibilities as a manager. We will work on strategies for using your talents to balance the various roles required of you. You will think about new ways that you can influence others. You will develop and implement a plan to set clear direction for yourself and for your team.

The program consists of eight 1-hour coaching sessions over the course of four months. We begin with conversation about your current roles and responsibilities, we will focus on what’s working best today and how to sustain it. We will then explore your personal talents and and how they show up as a manager. Finally, we will build a plan using your talents to guide you and your growth as a manager.

“You’ve got to think about big things while you’re doing small things, so that all the small things go in the right direction.”

Executives

Leadership. It is the most sought after and elusive of organizational commodities. Being in a leadership role most often means that an individual has been successful in several critical aspects of their career. They have skill and tools that others believe will help take a team or organization to a higher level of performance.

Leadership success often depends upon an individual adapting her or his current abilities for a wider set of responsibilities. Yet there is no single path on how to do this successfully. Leaders must construct a personal strategy, develop new methods of engaging others, and motivating a larger and more diverse group of people.

Our Executive Coaching engagements are individually tailored to fit each client, their organization, and the unique circumstances of their developmental needs. We help each client design and implement their own personal and authentic plan to lead.

We explore the client’s unique talents, examining how these have successfully been put to work thus far, and develop new approaches to adapt them for a larger role. We challenge our clients to take a fresh look at themselves and to determine the changes they need and want to make in order to thrive in a leadership role.

We work with each client to define what success looks like for them and their organization. We help clients set goals that intentionally capitalize on their strengths to engage, motivate and direct key aspects of their organizational responsibilities. We provide on-going coaching to assess and enhance the effectiveness of their plan and design necessary adaptations.

Generally these engagements take place over nine months to a year, however we work with each client to build a plan that best fits their schedules, experiences, and goals. Contact us to discuss your Executive Coaching needs.

“The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born-that there is a genetic factor to leadership. This myth asserts that people simply either have certain charismatic qualities or not. That’s nonsense; in fact, the opposite is true. Leaders are made rather than born.”
